I'm Running the 2025 NYC Marathon — And I Need Your Help
I am beyond thrilled to share that I’ve been selected to run the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon as part of Cerebral Palsy Alliance’s Athletes for Accessibility team. There are many nonprofit charities in New York City that sponsor runners; however, my personal connection to the condition of cerebral palsy through my late brother, Armand, makes me all the more excited to represent this amazing organization.
For those who don’t know, Armand was my younger brother who, despite his limitations, left a lasting positive mark on my family and countless others. His life was not easy, but both he and my family were fortunate to have the support of one another, along with countless friends and loved ones who helped us through difficult times.
I mention this because cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common physical disability in the world, affecting 1 million people in the United States and 18 million people worldwide. Unfortunately, many of these individuals and their families do not have access to the same support and resources my family did. Even worse, CP research is currently trapped in a cycle of chronic under-investment that stifles innovation.
This is why I’m running. Not just for Armand, but for the millions of others who deserve the same support, care, and opportunities he had. I’ve set a goal to raise $5,000 to help fund groundbreaking medical research and accelerate the development of emerging assistive technology. Every dollar brings us closer to a more accessible and inclusive future for people with disabilities through the following six research priorities:
· Adulthood
· Chronic Pain
· Early Detection & Early Intervention
· Genomics
· Regenerative Medicine
· Technology

Thursday 30th Oct Well this is it... After 6 months of fundraising and training, the marathon is this Sunday.
