Help me make a difference for CP research!
On January 25th I will be running in the 2026 Miami Marathon in support of CP research! My 2.5 year old son Jay has been a fighter since he was born prematurely at 27 weeks. Throughout his 96 day NICU stay, constant weekly therapy sessions, intensive therapy weeks, and stem cell treatments, Jay has continued to thrive with a giant smile on his face. He has spent his life working ten times harder than the rest of us just to move. When he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy last spring, we knew that he would need to continue to work hard for his whole life. Jay inspires me to challenge myself and raise money to help him and others with research for the future!I’m raising funds and awareness for Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation to help advance medical research and assistive technology innovation, creating a world that is more accessible and inclusive for people with cerebral palsy (CP) and other disabilities.
Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common lifelong physical disability in the world. It affects more than 18 million people of all ages. CP is different for everyone. It can affect how people move, talk, or learn. That’s why research in CP often leads to better care, new technologies, and improved treatments for many kinds of disabilities.
Even though CP is so common, it doesn’t get enough attention or funding. Your support can help change that and make a real difference in people’s lives.
